Brian A. Hunt, FCA Chief Executive Officer Brian Hunt was appointed CEO of the Canadian Public Accountability Board on January 29, 2009. Mr. Hunt was active in CPAB’s creation and served as a Director since its inception. Prior to his current position at CPAB, Mr. Hunt was President and CEO of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. Prior to his position with the Ontario Institute, Mr. Hunt held numerous executive positions in both not for profit as well as for profit organizations.
Kenneth J.A. Vallillee, FCA Senior Vice President Before joining CPAB Mr. Vallillee served three years as senior vice-president finance with a major Canadian bank. Prior to that he spent ten years as a partner and the director of accounting standards in Canada for an international accounting firm. His experience includes over ten years as a partner with a large local public accounting firm in Toronto.
Galt Arthur, FCA Vice President and Chief Information Officer Galt Arthur is a retired partner of Deloitte & Touche LLP where he specialized in delivering assurance services to insurance and investment companies and in providing computer audit and assurance services. Immediately prior to his retirement, he led the firm's Enterprise Risk Services practice in British Columbia.
Kam Grewal Vice President Prior to joining CPAB in 2006, Mr. Grewal worked in the National Office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he provided advice on accounting, assurance and financial reporting matters. He began his career in Cambridge, England and has practiced across market segments including technology, communications and manufacturing.
Marial Stirling Vice President and General Counsel Marial Stirling is a lawyer and C.A. with diverse experience prior to joining CPAB including positions at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (Accounting Standards), the Office of the Auditor General of Canada and several years with an international accounting firm.
